2014 Easter in Pittsburgh Family Guide

easterinpittsburgh2Easter is coming!  Now, I know that this holiday holds a variety of meanings for different people. For some, it is an intensely holy day.  For others, it is a fun, “cultural” celebration.  For many, it is just another date on a calendar.  But, for some of us with young families, it is a wildly exciting time of year.  My kids are definitely looking forward to visiting with the Easter Bunny, participating in Easter Egg Hunts, and hunting for their Easter baskets around the house this year.

For those of you who enjoy the holiday as much as we do, I have compiled this 2014 Easter in Pittsburgh Family Guide.  It is a listing of local Easter Egg Hunts and other Easter-related events including Breakfasts, Photos, Visits, etc. with the Bunny.  I have divided this post into areas of the city: City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh North, Pittsburgh South, Pittsburgh West, and Pittsburgh East.  Within these divisions, I have organized the events by date.  For some of these events, details are still being worked out.  In these cases, I will update the post when the information becomes available. And, as always, if I’ve forgotten anything please let me know.  You can comment below, or you can email me at pittsburghmommyblog@gmail.com.  Thanks and enjoy!

  1. Not sure if you would want to include this since it’s in Jeannette, but it looks fun. Schramm’s Farms is having an Easter Egg Hunt on Sat, April 19. $3 per child. Also pics with the Easter bunny, prizes, visit with live bunnies and Ukrainian egg demo. They also have a playground and goats the kids can visit.

I want to hear what you have to say!
